Cascais, Estoril, Oeiras & Sintra
The coast-and-school corridor west of Lisbon.

The coast-and-school corridor west of Lisbon.
This is the most natural first search for many relocating families: ocean access, established residential communities and a broad concentration of international-school options while Lisbon remains reachable. Yet it is not one market. Cascais centre is walkable and social; Estoril and Monte Estoril feel more residential; Carcavelos and Oeiras can be practical for rail and schools; the Sintra side offers gardens and land with a cooler, greener microclimate.
